Intensiv

When I first saw the thumbnail of this photo I first did a little jump and then my jaw dropped to the floor. There's just something about this that really grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and yelled, "LOOK AT ME!"

The very tight depth of field somewhat gives this a feeling of movement. The grain of the wood when out of focus almost looks like a motion blur, and I get the impression of the flower falling over from where it once proudly stood. It seems like a bit of a sad piece to me, yet beautiful all the same. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
